A steadier approach to emotional overwhelm.

GroundPoint Counseling provides telehealth skills-based emotional regulation groups for adults across California

  • These groups are designed for adults who:

    • Feel emotionally overwhelmed, reactive, or shut down and want steadier ways to cope

    • Want support without pressure to share personal history or details

  • Individual therapy is available after group participation and through referral.

  • The process is simple, and it starts with a call to answer a few questions to ensure appropriate fit and safety.

Getting Started Is Simple

1. Request a brief screening call
Before moving forward with services at GroundPoint Counseling, a short screening call is required. This call helps determine if moving forward with the Emotional Regulation Group is clinically appropriate, safe, and aligned with your current needs.

2. Review the group information
During the screening process, you’ll review the structure, focus, and expectations of the Emotional Regulation Group to check if the skills-group feels like a good fit at this time.

3. Next steps
If the group is a good clinical fit, enrollment details will be discussed. If the skills-group is not the right fit, referral options or alternative pathways — including individual therapy or external providers will be provided.

Screening calls are not pressure-based and are focused on clarity and getting you the care you deserve. All screening calls are conducted by Christian Lozano, LMFT
